Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, home of the 4th Fighter and 916th Air Reserve Wings, is less than 1 mile.
The hotel also has direct access onto Highway 70 eastbound and is about 1 - 1 1/2 hours from the Atlantic Ocean.
The Irish Inns is equipped with all new furnishings and construction. The Irish Inns was closed for 15 months for a complete renovation and fully re-opened in May of 1998 with all new interior construction from sheet-rock to furnishings.
